Forty Plus Cycling Club : 50th Anniversary Year

Hitchwood Lane, Preston.  The inaugural run of Stevenage and North Herts Section was on 8th January 1981.  A family picnic is held annually on the second Thursday in August at Wimpole Hall.

The time for wearing shorts:

Start : when the stinging nettles are knee high.

End: when the dahlias have turned black.
