John Wynstanly [that's the way he spells it] is our featured rider this time. He retired in 2000 after spending most of his working life at Ford as a design draughtsman, where he cycled to work without fail. His bikes are a Hetchins, an Eddy Merckx, a Sirius time trial machine and a pair of Bromptons. The last two are for when he is away with his wife Yvonne in their caravan. He has been time trialling for the last 25 years, mainly doing evening 10's. John and Yvonne have a married daughter who lives locally and an unmarried son in America, there are no grandchildren yet.
