Cycle the Salient in 2009

Recently, I have been thinking about taking a group of cyclists over to Belgium for a five-day cycle tour of the Ypres Salient and wondered if any of the members might be interested in joining me.
The Salient, as you may know, saw much action from 1914 to 1918 and there were in fact 4 distinct battles for the town of Ypres which was tenaciously defended by the British. There's plenty to see and do and I anticipate an excellent tour.
As for me, I used to take time trialling reasonably seriously (but was never really any good!) and now work as a personal trainer in my local gym. I'm also a graduate of the Department of War Studies, King's College, London.

PS - Last May/June I took part in the Help for Heroes Battlefield Bike Ride across Normandy to Calais via the Somme. It was great and the 90 miles a day was an excellent leg-stretcher!
