…otherwise known as N Herts 40+ to Woburn Sands. Five set off from LGC, Mia, Stuart, Kevin and Alan, with me Adrian, leading. The planned route was via Barton and Harlington, but we were thwarted by a road closure at Higham Gobion, so we diverted via Pulloxhill and Flitwick. Stuart left us at Pulloxhill, to return via Silsoe and Clophill. Lunch was at Frost’s Garden Centre in Woburn Sands, which has gone rather upmarket since I was last there… most expensive cheese toastie I’ve ever had! Just before lunch there was a sharp shower, and a few spots on and off on the way back, but nothing to worry about. A good day out. This post was nicked from Adrian’s Strava entry.
