Cracking Autumn ride today, even though it was a bit chilly. Seven of us left from the fountain; myself leading, with Kris, Stuart, Kevin, Alan, Paul, and Andy, who only just arrived in time…! We picked up Nige at Great Wymondley before continuing on along mostly quiet lanes to our destination, lunch at The Feathers, always a good venue. Mick was waiting for us, having ridden direct from Harpenden. Andy couldn’t stop so we remained 8 for lunch. Mick returned home direct on leaving, which left 7 for the return trip.
