Cold start yesterday morning from the Fountain. We were five in total – myself (leading), John D, Angie, Paul F and Martin. We headed for the Boundary café in Potton via Bygrave, Ashwell Steeple Morden and Wreslingworth with a cold wind against us all the way there. Angie and Paul were pushed for time so headed straight back, leaving the three of us for a hot drink and cake (only 30 mins stop}. The return via Dunton and Langford was much quicker with the wind behind us. A nice winter ride – not a cloud in the sky. Note: Picture taken at the fountain with all present and total mileage was about 33 miles (as I did Six miles beforehand to warm up).
