Cold Tuesday morning ride today. We started from the fountain with only three of us – Myself (leading), Paul Fletcher and Andrew Street. The original plan was to go to the Fox at Aspenden, but they were fully booked so we headed for the Buntingford Café instead.
The hilly route out was via Weston, Ardeley, Great Munden and Westmill – but still arriving just after midday.
Food and service in the Buntingford café was good (nice sandwich) – high street was busy with many people queuing outside a Pharmacy to be boosted.
The return via Sandon, Wallington and Baldock was at a good pace (it took some time to warm up after the break) with Paul Fletcher and Andrew Street pushing all the way !!.
Ground wasn’t too wet today – my bike didn’t get too muddy.
