Fresh Thursday morning ride today. We started from the fountain with Eight of us – Adrian (leading), myself, Andy, Kris, Angie, Geoff, John and John D (Geoff P had to go back as he forgot his helmet – so met us their) .
Todays ride was a bit cold, damp and misty but, luckily we missed the rain. We set out via Great Wymondley, Preston and Kings Walden to the Barn, where we met Peter and Geoff P. – Ten in Total
Food and service at the Barn was slow and I don’t recommend here if your in a group (in a hurry) – Although the Bacon sandwich was good.
Andy, John and Angie were pressed for time so left early (not in photo)
Adrian, Peter, John D and Geoff P returned by the Lilley Hexton route and we returned via Preston and Gosmore.
Nice ride but, again, the road surface was wet and slippy with more traffic than normal.
