N HERTS 40+ TO BLOSSOMS CAFE, WILLINGTON

Home Blog North Herts N HERTS 40+ TO BLOSSOMS CAFE, WILLINGTON

I did not make todays ride but Adrian provided the following:

A bit chillier than I was expecting today, but not bad for early Feb.

There were 11 at the start today, with 2 groups setting off, a 6 and a 5, with Mia leading the ‘faster’ group.

On approaching Arlesey station, Keith suffered a puncture, so we stopped in the car park to fix it.

Andy and Nige were there waiting too.

The second group caught and passed us at this point. 10 mins later we were back on the road and arrived at Blossoms café hot on the heels of the others, and John H had made the trip out from Hitchin to join us.

Andy and Nige had already left us at Cople to return, so there were 12 at lunch, pretty good.

For Lunch: Adrian, Mia, Kevin, Geoff H, Geoff P, John D, Keith, Martin, John H, Angie, Roy and Stuart

After lunch we left the other group to slog up the hill to Northill while we rode round via Barford, Blunham and Moggerhanger, a nice route.

Thank you Mia for leading today.
