A good turn-out for a Tuesday today, with eight meeting up for the ride. Joining me were Lorraine, Andy E, Mia, Ronnie, Jack, Geoff H and Paul.

The ride out proved very easy, as there was a moderate tail wind, but which made it hard on the return… the cafe at Wimpole was surprisingly busy, with a queue out the door, but it moved along OK, and we were able to find tables outside, as it wasn’t cold, thankfully.
After lunch Paul and Ronnie set off to make a faster return, though we did spy them on Mill Lane on the way to Shingay, about 200m in front, but I don’t think they saw us!

Andy left us at Guilden Morden for Wrestlingworth, and on reaching Ashwell all bar me headed back on the Bygrave route.

Another good run out, in spite of the headwind.
Distance approx. 40 miles, 13.5 average
