Crazily warm again for the time of year, and five mostly overdressed riders met at the fountain, plus Angie who happened to be passing.
So myself, Alan, Andy S, Mia and John M set off with a very helpful wind, so we made good time which is just as well, as the loop I planned adds a fair bit to the outward trip.

Andy left us at Cople to return home, but we picked up another rider instead, David, who had just come out of his house and saw us passing; we got chatting and he joined us for lunch.

Actually the Roxton GC café was heaving, but as it was so warm we were once again able to sit outside.

After a pleasant hour spent in the usual fashion, we left David enjoying the sunshine and planning on a little reading and set off for the return. This proved to be much harder work than the run out with the wind against us, so this knocked our average speed down a bit!
Route from LGC and back of approx. 50 miles, at about 14 mph.
