A mere three of us for today’s ride, in spite of the wall-to-wall sunshine, and much milder temps than of late!

Nevertheless, myself, Andy S and Stuart set off for Gamlingay with a helpful tailwind, though Andy couldn’t come on to lunch and turned off at Wrestlingworth, to head home via Dunton, Langford and Henlow.

Stuart and I went on to the farm shop to find there has been a few changes, and as far as we are concerned not in a good way. They have a new chef who is changing the menu, and much of what we’ve been used to has disappeared. It remains to be seen how things will develop…
The ride back was noticeably harder work (for me anyway!) and the low sun made it difficult to see at times. Still, it was a pleasure to get out after the severe weather of last week.
We covered 33 miles at an average of 13 mph.

Sorry no photo of riders
