Welcome to the page for the West Essex Section of the Forty Plus. Our rides take place on Thursdays, leaving alternately from Harlow Garden Centre and Stapleford Abbotts Airfield. Typically, the rides are between 35 and 40 miles in length, with the shorter rides taking place in the winter months. All the rides include a lunch stop, usually at a pub, although many riders prefer to picnic. The routes cover Essex and Hertfordshire and always return to the starting location.
