Seven of us met at the Broadway Fountain this morning for our run to Aspenden, the six riders in the blog photo and myself Stuart. Mia took the lead throughout with an extra loop via Hare Street on the way out, which I opted out of. The landlord at the pub was a little stand offish to start with as we hadn’t booked. Everyone was happy with a sandwich, which he seemed to be able to cope with. The sandwiches arrived and were rather nice, so we all enjoyed them, sitting in the sunshine, listening to Alans tales of his recent LEJOG adventure, amongst other things. Afterwards, we set off on our normal route finishing off by going through Graveley.
