This morning five of us set off for Great Barford and The Anchor for our lunch stop. Alan, Kevin, Andy, myself Stuart and Mia who volunteered to lead. It was an unexpected beautiful bright and suprisingly warm day. Mia took our usual route out via Henlow, Stanford, Ireland and Cardington. unfortunately at the bottom of the Greensand Ridge I had a rear wheel puncture, which I was unable to repair on the spot. The rest of the group were unaware until they reached their destination. I walked the two miles to Cardington where Andy came back to meet me at The Barn where I had just finished my tea and toastie. Andy had the allen key that I needed to repair the puncture and helped me do so. (Thanks Andy). Mia and her group came back through Moggerhanger, Northill and Old Warden. Andy and myself headed over to Northill too and the same route back from there.
